Beyond the classroom, our students have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of school-sponsored activities such as a fall choir, cheerleading, and more.
Our academic program is further enriched by extracurricular programs and experiences.
Free tutoring is available before school every morning for students who are interested.
Clubs change annually based on student and teacher interest. Currently, we offer Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chess Club, and Martial Arts. We encourage students to bring their ideas.
Field trips offer a chance for students to learn outside the classroom. Multiple field trips are provided over the course of the school year, and, depending on grade level, typically include excursions throughout Northeast Ohio. Information regarding field trips, times, and locations will be provided to the parents by classroom teachers and administration.
Students living in Warren a mile or greater from STEAM Academy of Warren will benefit from free bus transportation provided by Warren City Schools. Families must apply for this service by filling out the Transportation Request Form and turning it in to the school office.
Breakfast and Lunch
Healthy bodies fuel healthy minds! All students are eligible for free breakfast and free lunch each school day as part of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Each healthy meal is prepared on campus and includes protein, fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, and milk. Throughout the week, we also offer fresh fruit and vegetable snacks in between meal times.
We observe a strict dress code policy for all grade levels as a way to help our school stay focused on academics and help our families keep wardrobe costs affordable. Students are required to wear a solid color collared shirt and solid navy, khaki, or black pants, skirts, shorts, or jumpers. Read our entire Dress Code Policy here.
A safe and secure school is our first priority. We incorporate physical security measures and crisis planning to keep our school safe. Our school safety plan includes secured classroom doors, school entrances, and on-going training for all teachers and support staff.
